Coach Hyp
Elite Program Director

Coach Hyp has been coaching basketball for almost 5 years in various settings from town youth leagues, to AAU, high school, and the collegiate level. Hyp joined Beast ’Em Basketball in the fall of 2017 as an Assistant Coach under Coach Beast and Coach Buckets and learned quickly that Beast ’Em was more like a family, not just another youth sports organization. The relationships with fellow staff, players and their families are what Coach Hyp values most.

He focuses on skill development and basketball IQ and looks to help players understand the game better. You can find him at various parks and gyms in and throughout the Boston and Greater Boston area training athletes, playing pickup, or honing his own skills. Hyp’s favorite players are Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, and Stephen Curry; he is also a big fan of Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal. His favorite Coach is Phil Jackson.
Beast 'Em Basketball Training Academy Inc., a 501c3 not-for-profit organization founded in 2015 and started operating in 2016, is dedicated to the mission of “teaching life lessons through the game of basketball,” through which it actively encourages consistent effort and achievement in athlete’s core responsibilities in the classroom, in the community and at home.
